It's only LOVE

It took me 62 years to be ready and able to reach your soul, consciously. And, I tell you, nothing can compare with the experience of it. And I knew.

It was an overwhelming, impressing, moving, marvellous experience.

I could touch directly your soul and I could feel your energy, bright, so bright, made of the purest golden light. And, I tell you, it was the direct vibrational expression of -no more and no less than- LOVE.

Tears came to my eyes. Of course! I always knew it, but I had to develop myself to be able to know you, in a whole conscientious way. I knew in my heart since I was fourteen, that you needed to be known and loved for what you really were. That it caused you much suffering. But, how could the average person around you know and understand the totality that animated your breath in your lifetime as Elvis Aaron Presley?

You know, I had to run a long way before I was ready for getting a glimpse of your soul's quality, beyong what I blindly felt for you. I had to learn, as much as I could, about God and Human Beings, about Light and energy, about Unity and multiplicity, about what may be the design of Life and the purpose of our coming to this reality, the mission everyone comes to accomplish. And I had to learn about Love, that essential energy that expresses God throughout the universe.

You were Love expressed in form of music and harmony, beauty, goodness and innocence. Your trial in life got you to master in patience, generosity, forgiveness, humility and humour. You dared to be yourself, dangerous as it was in a world that rewarded similitude, not differences.

My admiration to you, for being the carrier of it all. My gratitude to God for the experience of you.

I think there are not little ways to express what Elvis' soul is/was. One may speak of the numerous details that appear along his life telling something about him, but looking for the meaning of it all, I could only find a word that embraced within everything I feel Elvis is/was: LOVE.

Hi Amanda, this is beautiful. Such passion, each one of us having a glimpse into what made him him. I often think about this - it has taken me into my late 40's to be able to see somewhat more rightly, to know somewhat more fully, and yet, I wish I could go back in time with my knowledge and understanding now, and have a chance to be a part of his life, then... thanks so much for writing this!
