The Elvis Smoothie
Serves 2
1 tablespoon natural-style peanut butter
1 banana
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup skim milk
3 ice cubes (more to make it thicker)
Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree. Makes 2 servings.
179 calories, 7g protein, 31g carb, 3g fiber, 4g fat, 85mg sodium

I'll be scarce for a while
Thanks to all of you for your lovely spirits and sharing. This has proven to be a more challenging season than anticipated - we lost our cat we've had since we started dating (fall 1992) last week to cancer, hyperthyroidism, and a kidney infection. Once she got the UTI, things just spiraled and we had her put to sleep less than two weeks later. She was ready to go, and her body was giving out on her.
